North Africa – February – Teams are needed to work in an urban area with a Muslim government, building on the work of 2010 teams and a small local church.
South Asia, Site 1: – February – One of the world’s poorest and least developed nations, their economy is agrarian and major religions are Hinduism and Islam. Lack of access to clean water and oppressive poverty are two major barriers to healthcare delivery here.
South Asia, Site 2: – February – This large, diverse nation has much strife between religious and social groups. Several locations are opening up where there is much interest in implementing new healthcare strategies.
Himalaya region – June/July – A new project in a remote location with a Buddhist and Muslim population; sure to be an unforgettable experience!
South Asia, Site 3: – March – This nation is primarily Muslim, but has little evangelical Christian presence. Walk the dirt roads, visit the mud huts, and provide clinics to the vast numbers who are too poor to afford a doctor.
East Asia – April – Sites may be in remote villages or urban areas. A strong national presence of believers ensures that our teams’ work will be built on with sound follow-up work in private homes.
South Asia, Site 4: – The scene of major natural disaster in recent months, this nation has many opportunities to provide needed healthcare and Christlike compassion to a suffering population.
