Top Ten Reasons to go on an MMR trip in 2010
- A challenging trip will stretch my faith and grow my spirit!
- I want to take the Gospel to people who have never heard it and never had a chance to respond to it.
- MMR projects result in new believers and churches planted.
- I want to be uncomfortable, convicted, stinky, tired, and overwhelmingly filled with the Spirit...at the same time.
- I want to see the look on the faces of my friends and family when I tell them where I’m going.
- I have a million other things I could do with my time and money, but nothing else is as important as fulfilling the Great Commission.
- I want to go someplace I’ve never heard of, to a people I didn’t know existed, because the God who created them commanded it.
- I want to demonstrate Christ’s love to people who go without basic necessities of life.
- MMR’s community health work is sustainable over time, long after the volunteers leave.
- I’ve been thinking about it forever, and it’s time to take that step in faith!
